New Installations and Maintenance Releases

Perform the steps in the following table for new installations and when applying maintenance releases. When applying an upgrade, see Table 2, FDM Upgrade Checklist.

2Install FDM using EPM System Installer

See the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Installation and Configuration Guide for installation procedures.

3Configure FDM using EPM System ConfiguratorConfigure FDM using EPM System Configurator. EPM System Configurator registers FDM with Oracle Hyperion Shared Services and creates the FDM Task Manager Service and FDM virtual directory in IIS.

Procedures are included in the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Installation and Configuration Guide.
