4 Simulating Database Provisioning Deployment Procedures to Check Prerequisites

Enterprise Manager Grid Control offers database provisioning Deployment Procedures that help you provision database targets such as Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Infrastructure for standalone servers, Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle RAC for clustered environments, and so on. However, before you run the database provisioning Deployment Procedures, Oracle strongly recommends you to simulate the Deployment Procedures so that you check the prerequisites and ensure that you meet all the necessary requirements for database provisioning, and also resolve all operational conflicts and issues beforehand.

Table 4-1 lists the database provisioning Deployment Procedures that support the simulation mode, and describes how you must run them in that mode.
