Modify JMS application modules

After you have deployed a new application or module, you can change configuration options for the JMS modules in the deployment. Changes are stored in a deployment plan. Changes to dynamic settings take effect immediately after you activate your changes. For non-dynamic settings (indicated by a yellow triangle), changes take effect after you update (redeploy) the application or JMS module. To modify a JMS application module:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the left pane of the Administration Console, select Deployments.
  3. In the right pane, choose one of the following options:
    • For a stand-alone JMS module, click the name of the module.
    • For a packaged JMS module, expand the application to view the application modules, then click the name of the JMS module that you want to modify.
  4. Make changes on the available tabs and click Save to save your changes.
  5. If you have not selected a deployment plan file for the module, you are prompted to select one to save your changes. Click Finish to continue.
  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).

After you finish

Changes to dynamic settings take effect immediately. However, if you changed any non-dynamic settings, those changes will not take effect until after you update (redeploy) the module or application. See the following:
