When you delete an XML entity cache, the Administration Server no
longer caches external entities that are referenced with a URL or a
pathname relative to the main directory of the EAR archive.
To delete an XML entity cache:
If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the left pane,
expand Services and select XML Entity Caches.
In the XML Entity Caches table, select the checkbox next
to the XML entity cache you want to delete.
Click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes. Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
