The diagram displays J.D. Edwards Outbound Processing. A Master Business Function (MBF) executes, which writes information to the interface table. The subsystem Batch Function (BF) then places an entry in the Subsystem Data Queue containing information about the event. The outbound subsystem reads this information and determines the processes to use from the Data Export Control table. The subsystem then calls the adapter with this information; the adapter passes this notification to the generator. Using the interface API, the generator retrieves the correct information from the interface table.
