The N1 Grid Engine 6 Installation Guide describes the procedures for installing and upgrading the N1TM Grid Engine 6 software.
This version of the manual supports Grid Engine 6 Update 4.
This manual is for engineers and system administrators, who need to install the N1 Grid Engine 6 software. Installation of the N1 Grid Engine 6 software should be done by someone who is familiar with the administration of the platform on which the software is installed.
While this book contains a complete glossary, if you are new to N1 Grid Engine 6 software, you should familiarize yourself with the concepts that are discussed in Chapter 1, Introduction to the N1 Grid Engine 6 Software, in N1 Grid Engine 6 User’s Guide.
