The Suntrademark Management Center 3.5 Version 6 Supplement for Sun Fire Entry-Level Midrange Systems provides instructions on how to install, configure, and use Sun Management Center software on these Sun Fire entry-level midrange systems:



Note - Sun Management Center 3.5 Version 6 does not support Netratrademark 1280 systems.



This supplement is intended for system administrators who install and use Sun Management Center 3.5 software to monitor and manage these systems.

How This Book Is Organized

Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the Sun Management Center software in relation to the supported platforms.

Chapter 2 describes how to install, set up, update multiple hosts, start, and stop Sun Management Center software on the Sun Fire entry-level midrange systems using the graphical user interface (GUI). Use this chapter with the Sun Management Center Installation and Configuration Guide.

Chapter 3 describes how to administer and monitor systems using the domain agent.

Appendix A describes how to use the command line interface (CLI) to install, setup, uninstall, start, and stop Sun Management Center software.

A Glossary defines abbreviations and acronyms used in the document and in the graphical user interface (GUI)

A comprehensive Index helps find information quickly in this supplement.
