Purpose of the Solaris Plug-In

The Solaris plug-in adds components, plans, and system services to the N1 Grid Service Provisioning System that enable you to use the provisioning system to complete the following tasks:

• Deploy Solaris patches

• Deploy Solaris packages

• Create and manage Solaris 10 zones
