Requirements for Using the Sun Java Enterprise System Application Server Plug-In

Any host on which you intend to deploy the Sun Java Enterprise System Application Server plug-in must meet the following requirements:

Operating system

The Sun Java Enterprise System Application Server plug-in runs on the following operating systems:

• Solaris 8 for SPARC

• Solaris 9 for SPARC

• Solaris 10 for SPARC

• Solaris 9 for x86

• Solaris 10 for x86

• Redhat Enterprise Linux 2.1 Update 2

• Redhat Enterprise Linux 3.0 Update 1

Disk space

On Solaris you must have at least 250 MB of free disk space (500 MB recommended). On Redhat Enterprise Linux you must have at least 220 MB of free disk space (300 MB recommended).

RAM

512 MB minimum; 1 GB recommended

Java Runtime Environment

J2SE 1.4.2_06 or J2SE 5.0
