手动安装

本节概括介绍了在工作站本地手动安装 Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 或 Windows Server 2008 所需的步骤。

如果计划使用 Windows 部署服务服务器将 Windows Vista Ultimate 或 Windows Server 2008 安装到工作站，请参见第 8 章。

要从 CD 介质中将 Windows Vista Ultimate 或 Windows Server 2008 安装到工作站中，请依次完成以下步骤：

1. 下载驱动程序软件包（请参见第 2 章）。

2. 准备 Windows Vista Ultimate 安装所需的海量存储驱动程序介质（请参见第 3 章）。

3. 准备 Windows 安装所需的工作站内部存储（请参见第 4 章）。

4. 安装 Windows（请参见第 5 章或第 6 章）。

5. 更新关键工作站驱动程序（请参见第 7 章）。

完成这些步骤后，即成功安装了 Windows 操作系统。
