Perl Version 5.8.4

This feature is new in the Solaris Express 8/04 release.

A new, default version of the Practical Extraction and Report Language (Perl) is available in the Solaris 10 OS. The new default version of Perl is version 5.8.4. You need to reinstall any modules that you have manually installed after upgrading to the Solaris 10 software.
