Preface

The Solaris 10 Sun Hardware Platform Guide contains important information about the Sun hardware supported by the Solaristrademark 10 Operating System. This document describes installation resources, SPARC® platform types, and the current location of software formerly found on the Supplement CD.

This edition includes additional information about the Solaris 10 1/06, Solaris 10 3/05 HW1, and Solaris 10 3/05 HW2 releases.

These are called class options.
