Support for Solaris (x86 Platform Edition)

Sun Cluster is now available for use on Solaris^TM Operating System (x86 Platform Edition). You can now use Sun Cluster 3.1 4/04 software on a Sun Fire^TM V65x server that is running Update 6 of Solaris 9 Operating System (x86 Platform Edition).

Enhancements to Resource Types

The following resource types are enhanced in Sun Cluster 3.1:

• SUNW.oracle_listener (see Sun Cluster Data Service for Oracle Guide for Solaris OS)

• SUNW.sap_xserver (see Sun Cluster Data Service for SAP liveCache Guide for Solaris OS)

New Supported Data Services (SPARC Platform Edition)

Sun Cluster 3.1 4/04 (SPARC Platform Edition) supports the following data services:
