Starting the Administration Server

This section describes how to start the Administration Server.

• To start the Administration Server on UNIX and Linux, go to install_dir/admin_server/bin and type ./startserv.

• To start the Administration Server on Windows, do one of the following:

  • From the Start menu, select Programs > Sun Microsystems > Web Server 7.0 > Start Admin Server.

  • Start the Administration Server service on the Services page accessed from the Control Panel.

  • Execute net start https-admserv70 from the command line.

  • Execute startserv.bat from install_dir/admin-server/bin.
