Welcome to the L-Series Library Admin.

The StorageTek L-Series Library Admin. is a software that resides internal to the library and is activated using a web browser. It uses Java-applets to send information using the Web. Currently, this software can be upgraded on the L700/L180, L700ePTP, and the L20/40/80 tape libraries.

Some of the features of the Library Admin. include the ability to:

< Get a virtual view of the library’s cells

< Load code

< Generate useful reports on the library, drives, fault symptom codes (FSCs), and media

< Obtain valuable statistics on the library, drive, cells, and cleaning cartridge

< View and modify the configuration of the library, drives, network, and also set the cleaning cartridge threshold.
