Administering Data Replication in a Hitachi TrueCopy or Universal Replicator Protection Group

This section summarizes the steps for configuring Hitachi TrueCopy and Universal Replicator data replication in a protection group.

Review configuration requirements and guidelines, and perform an initial configuration of the Hitachi TrueCopy or Universal Replicator software.

Create a protection group that is configured for Hitachi TrueCopy or Universal Replicator data replication.

Replicate the protection group configuration to a secondary cluster.

Test the configured partnership and protection groups to validate the setup.

Activate the protection group.

Check the runtime status of replication.
