How to Configure Veritas Volume Manager Volumes for Use With Hitachi TrueCopy Replication

If you intend to mirror data service storage by using Veritas Volume Manager, you must configure a Veritas Volume Manager disk group on the primary cluster containing the LUNs in a single Hitachi TrueCopy or Universal Replicator device group, and create a mirrored volume from those LUNs. For example, the previously configured pair1 device in the devgroup1 device group on the primary cluster is mirrored with the pair2 device in the devgroup1 device group on the primary cluster.
