slapi_attr_get_numvalues()

Puts the count of values of an attribute into a provided integer.

Syntax

#include "slapi-plugin.h"
 int slapi_attr_get_numvalues( const Slapi_Attr *a, int *numValues);

Parameters

This function takes the following parameters:

a

Attribute containing the values to be counted.

numValues

Integer to hold the counted values.

Returns

This function always returns 0.

Description

This function counts the number of values in an attribute and places that count in an integer.
