MegaRAID Storage Manager (MSM) software is available for server blades that use a supported SAS-2 REM. It can be used from a management client to provide monitoring of:
Hard disk drives.
SES monitoring of storage module enclosure temperature, voltage, and faults (module, disks).
The MegaRAID Storage Manager includes an event viewer in the lower part of the MegaRAID Storage Manager window. Event log entries appear during the MSM session. Each entry has an ID, an error level indicating the severity of the event, the timestamp and date, and a brief description of the event.
