Loading Data

Solaris Directory extension package has tools and documents needed to migrate from NIS to LDAP. It is available on iPlanet Advantage Software (Volume 1) cd, and also on iPlanet website. dsimport is a tool used to convert NIS data to ldap format. It makes use of a mapping file, nis.mapping, which needs to be customized as per the input data format, environment variables and so on.
