vdp-control-panel

The vdp-control-panel command launches a graphical user interface that displays basic server status information and enables you to perform basic directory server administration.

This command is not supported for the directory server.

Synopsis

vdp-control-panel [options]

Description

The vdp-control-panel command launches a graphical user interface that displays basic server status information, configuration, and allows you to monitor Sun OpenDS Standard Edition proxy. From the control panel, you can start, stop, and restart the server. The vdp-control-panel command also allows you to configure the Java properties and configure the Windows service (in the case it is running on Windows).

General Options

The vdp-control-panel command accepts an option in either its short form (for example, -V) or its long form equivalent (for example, --version).

-V, --version

Displays directory server version information

-?, -H, --help

Displays this usage information

Exit Codes

An exit code of 0 indicates that the operation completed successfully. An exit code of 1 indicates that an error occurred during processing.
