To Create a Database

1. Log in to the Portal Server management console.

2. Select Search Servers tab, then select a search server.

3. Click Databases, then Management from the menu bar.

4. Click New.

   The New Database page displays.

5. Type the name of the new database, and click OK.

For equivalent psadmin Command

psadmin create-search-database
