Support for Oracle Database

Service Registry 3.1 Update 1 provides support for the use of an Oracle database as well as for the use of the default database, Java DB. For details on configuring Service Registry to use an Oracle database and on configuring an Oracle database for use with Service Registry, see the Service Registry 3.1 Update 1 Administration Guide.

Web Console Export Feature for Repository Content

The Web Console for Service Registry 3.1 Update 1 allows you to export repository content to a zip file. For details, see the Service Registry 3.1 Update 1 User’s Guide.

Support for Sun Java System Application Server 9.1

By default, Service Registry is deployed to Sun Java System Application Server 8.2. It is possible, however, to deploy it to Application Server 9.1. For details, see the Service Registry 3.1 Update 1 Administration Guide.

Implementation-Specific API

Service Registry includes an implementation of version 1.0 of the Java API for XML Registries (JAXR) specification. JAXR 1.0 was written to support the UDDI and ebXML Registry 2.0 specifications. The implementation of JAXR in Service Registry includes nonstandard extensions to JAXR 1.0 that support the ebXML Registry 3.0 specifications.
