Supported Versions of HP-UX

Java ES5 Update 1 supports HP-UX 11i v1 (displayed as 11.11 by the unamecommand) on the PA-RISC 2.0 platform.

Upgrades and patches required for HP-UX

Before installing, configuring, and running Java ES components on HP-UX, you must install certain software updates and patches. The updates are:

• Transport Optional Upgrade Release (TOUR) 3.1

• GOLDQPK11i(B.11.11.0509.429) Sept 2005 Quality Pack

  • GOLDAPPS11i(B.11.11.0509.429)

  • GOLDBASE11i(B.11.11.0509.429)

The patches are:

• PHSS_30966

• PHCO_29328

• PHKL_25842

• PHNE_29445
