ProcedureTo Prepare to Uninstall Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 Agent

  1. Undeploy any protected applications from Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1.

    Refer to the Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 documentation for more information.

  2. Restore the deployment descriptors of these applications to their original deployment descriptors.

  3. Before you uninstall the agent for Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1, ensure that the following servers are shut down:

    • Domain Administration Server (DAS)

    • Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 instance protected by the agent

  4. (Conditional) If you are permanently removing the agent for Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1, undeploy the agent application.

    If you are permanently removing this agent, you must first undeploy the agent application from Application Server 8.2/9.0/9.1 before the agent is uninstalled. If you plan to re-install this agent , you are not required to undeploy the agent application.
