hashdir

The hashdir command calculates the hash for the specified string. With the hashdir command, you can identify the directory that contains the message store for a particular account. This utility reports the relative path to the message store. The path is relative to the directory level just before the one based on the user ID. hashdir sends the path information to standard output.

Requirements: Must be run locally on the Messaging Server. Make sure that the environment variable CONFIGROOT is set to msg-svr-base/config.

Location: msg-svr-base/sbin/

hashdir [-a] [-i] account_name
