Paginación de prioridad y ajustables de núcleo relacionados (priority_paging/cachefree)

Los parámetros ajustables priority_paging y cachefree no se admiten en Solaris 9. Estos parámetros se han sustituido por una arquitectura avanzada de sistema de archivos con antememoria que implementa políticas de paginación similares a la paginación de prioridad, pero siempre habilitada. Si se intenta usar estos parámetros en el archivo /etc/system se provocan avisos en tiempo de arranque parecidos a los siguientes:

sorry, variable 'priority_paging' is not defined in the 'kernel'
sorry, variable 'cachefree' is not defined in the 'kernel'

Si moderniza a Solaris 9 o agrega con pkgadd los paquetes SUNWcsr y el archivo /etc/system incluye los parámetros priority_paging o cachefree, ocurrirá lo siguiente:

1. El mensaje siguiente se muestra si los parámetros priority_paging o cachefree están definidos en el archivo /etc/system:

   NOTE: /etc/system has been modified since it contains references to priority paging tunables. Please review the changed file.

2. En el archivo /etc/system se insertan comentarios antes de todas las líneas que establecen valores a priority_paging o cachefree. Por ejemplo, si se establece el valor 1 en priority_paging, ésta línea se sustituye por las siguientes:

   * NOTE: As of Solaris 9, priority paging is unnecessary and * has been removed. Since references to priority paging-related tunables * will now result in boot-time warnings, the assignment below has been * commented out. For more details, see the Solaris 9 Release Notes, or * the "Solaris Tunable Parameters Reference Manual". * set priority_paging=1
