When using Storage Management Agent on a server running Windows 2003 (non R2) and the Sun IPMI driver, the expected information may not be visible on the service processor. This is caused by an incorrect setting in the registry and is related to CR6915301. If it is not possible to upgrade the operating system and use the Microsoft IPMI driver, a work around is to manually change the ipmi driver name registry entry value from ms to ism.
For Windows Server 2003 32 bit change the value of the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sun Microsystems\SSM\Sun Storage Management Agent\ipmi driver name
For Windows Server 2003 64 bit change the value of the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Sun Microsystems\SSM\Sun Storage Management Agent\ipmi driver name
