Enhanced Security

Enhanced security is a new functionality introduced in the Sun Java System Web Server 6.1. This feature allows you to restrict access using flat file authentication. Unlike previous versions of the Web Server, Sun Java System Web Server 6.1 supports the Java Security Manager. The Java Security Manager is disabled by default when you install the product.
