This flow diagram shows installer operation from shared component compatibility checking through completion.

  1. Installer checks if shared components need to be upgraded.
      1. You decide whether to upgrade existing J2SE or add upgrade version.
      2. You view list of shared components that need to be upgraded.
      3. You confirm if upgrade of shared components is OK.
        • If yes, installer proceeds with installation.
        • If no, installation ends.
  2. You specify installation directories for component products.
  3. You select configuration type.
  4. You configure component products.
  5. You review list of components to be installed.
  6. You select whether to register online during installation.
