To open a book (view its table of contents), click on its title in the library page. This takes you to the book's table of contents. Although the table of contents includes entries for a list of figures, a list of tables, and an index, these items are not especially helpful to view. Like the old AnswerBook Navigator, these items do not provide additional links to other pages. For more information about how AnswerBook2 functionality differs for AnswerBook1 (Display PostScript) documents, see "Frequently Asked Questions".
For information about the function of the icons on this page, see Table 3-1. From an AnswerBook1 book's table of contents, you can:
Click on a chapter (or section) title to go directly to that chapter (or section).
Click on the symbol to the left of the chapter or section title to show more detail for that chapter or section.
Click on the symbol to the left of the chapter or section title to show less detail for that chapter or section.
Use the search mechanism to search for specific information in the book. For more information, see Chapter 5, Searching for Information in the AnswerBook2 System.
Some existing AnswerBook collections contain additional collections (nested collections or "booksets"). The AnswerBook2 interface only supports one level of booksets.
