Configuring DiskSuite

The following list presents a high-level overview of configuration tasks for DiskSuite 4.2. Refer to the Solstice DiskSuite 4.2 User's Guide for full details.

• Create a bootable disk .

• Configure the mdlogd.cf file.

• Edit the power supply management state file.

• Remove DiskSuite 4.0 documentation.

• Set up a previous configuration of DiskSuite prior to an upgrade.

• Read and understand the conceptual configuration information about SCSI drivers, and the DiskSuite upgrade/configuration rules.
