3. Configuration Restrictions
-
Do not mix different types of storage systems on the same
Fibre Channel loop. In other words, each loop on the
PCI Dual Fibre Channel Network Adapter must be connected
to one type of storage system, such as T3, A5x00, or A3500FC
disk arrays.
-
Do not connect different types of host adapters, such as
PCI Dual Fibre Channel Network Adapter, PCI FC-100 Host Adapter,
or SBus FC-100 Host Adapter to the same storage system whether
on the same loop or different loops.
-
If a power management feature is supported and enabled on the Sun
host platform, it must be disabled for the Sun StorEdge PCI Dual
Fibre Channel Network Adapter.
4. Required Software Patches and Packages
The name of each required patch or package is listed with its corresponding
identification number or designation.
All patch release numbers (-xx) indicated OR LATER will function properly.
