3 Dropping/Uninstalling EOSU

Before uninstalling EOSU take a Backup (Dmp) of the ARGUS_EOSU schema. This chapter includes instructions for the following:

Uninstalling EOSU

Use the following procedure to uninstall EOSU:

  1. Select Start=> Programs=> Oracle=> End of Study Unblinding=> Database=> Delete EOSU Schema.

  2. When the SQL*PLUS screen opens.

    Surrounding text describes uninstall.gif.
    • Enter the name of the database the EOSU schema needs to be dropped from.

    • Enter the SYS USER password.

    • Enter the name of the destination folder where the log file should be created. The folder name should not contain spaces.

    • Enter the Log File name. The log file name should not contain spaces.

  3. The system displays any current Oracle sessions for user ARGUS_EOSU on the drop script. Close all session before proceeding further on screen shown.

    • Close any current ARGUS_EOSU sessions.

    • Press Enter to continue removing the schema.

  4. The script proceed and finishes dropping the EOSU User, Role, and related schema objects. (Please review the Log File for any errors)

    • Press Enter to close the SQLPLUS session.

Uninstalling Client Software

Use Windows "Add or Remove Programs" under Control Panel to remove the EOSU client from machine.
