  Go To Table Of Contents

Data analysis and cleansing are essential first steps towards managing the quality of data in a master person index system. The Oracle Healthcare Master Person Index (OHMPI) provides the tools you need to analyze, profile, cleanse, and standardize legacy data before loading it into a master person index database. This guide introduces you to the Data Profiler and Data Cleanser, and provides conceptual information and procedures on how to profile and cleanse data.

This document is intended for any OHMPI user who wants to manage the quality of data in a master person index system.

Documentation Accessibility

Our goal is to make Oracle products, services, and supporting documentation accessible to all users, including users that are disabled. This documentation is available in HTML format, and contains markup to facilitate access by the disabled community. Accessibility standards will continue to evolve over time, and Oracle is actively engaged with other market-leading technology vendors to address technical obstacles so that our documentation can be accessible to all of our customers.
