As part of servicing the Sun Server X2-4, you might have to connect devices to the server. The following sections describe the locations of connectors on the server and the order in which you should attach cables and devices to the server.
Server Back Panel Connectors shows and describes the locations of the Sun Server X2-4 back panel connectors.

Connect external cables to the server in the following order. Refer to Server Back Panel Connectors for the location of connectors on the back of the server.
Note - The service processor (SP) uses the NET MGT (out-of-band) port by default. You can configure the SP to share one of the sever's four 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports instead. The SP uses only the configured Ethernet port.
