Configuring the Preinstalled Oracle Solaris OS

Note - If you are connected to a monitor, when you boot the system, after the POST messages, a prompt asks if you wish to view graphic output. Select graphic output to continue viewing boot messages on the monitor.

If you allow the system to time out, or if you make another selection, it does not display any more boot information on the monitor. However, the configuration process continues, and it continues to display messages on the serial output.

Use the installation worksheet to gather the information that you need for configuring the OS. See Installation Worksheet.
