Intel-Related Error Logged During Host Reset (7163774)

During a host reset—without a power cycle—Oracle ILOM might log the following Intel-related error:

fault.io.intel.iio.misc-vpp-fail

The system continues to function normally after the host resets and the faults are cleared. The error can be ignored. This issue is under investigation.

Workaround:

1. Allow the system to reset.
2. To continue, clear the faults:
   1. Start the fault management shell:

      -> start /SP/faultmgmt/shell

   2. Clear the faults on both CPUs:

      faultmgmtsp> fmadm acquit /SYS/MB/P0

      faultmgmtsp> fmadm acquit /SYS/MB/P1

      faultmgmtsp> exit
