Caching Realm: Authentication

Use this page to configure and enable the Authentication cache for the Caching realm. To use the Caching realm, you need to use Compatibility security. The use of the Caching realm is deprecated in this release of WebLogic Server.

Configuration Options

Name Description
Enable Authentication Cache

Specifies whether the Authentication cache should be enabled. By default, the Authentication cache is enabled.

Authentication Cache Size

The maximum number of Authentication requests (between 17 and 65537) that should be cached. This attribute should be a prime number for best lookup performance.

Authentication Cache TTLPositive

The number of seconds (between 1 and a positive 32-bit integer) to retain the results of a successful Authentication lookup.

Authentication Cache TTLNegative

The number of seconds (between 1 and a positive 32-bit integer) to retain the results of an unsuccessful Authentication lookup.
