64 ODSM-00001 to ODSM-01007

ODSM-00001: ODSM disconnected from OID server as the server is stopped.
Cause: OID server is stopped or ODSM is unable to contact OID server.
Action: Ensure that OID server is up and running. Refer OID server's log file to find out why it was stopped.

Level: 1

Type: ERROR

Impact: ODSM

ODSM-00002: Invalid Credentials.
Cause: Wrong username or password was provided.
Action: Provide valid username or password.

Level: 1

Impact: ODSM

ODSM-00003: Bind failed.
Cause: It may be due to wrong host name or port number or OID server may not be up. Refer exception for more details.
Action: Provide valid host name and port number and ensure that OID server is up and running.

Level: 1

Impact: ODSM

ODSM-00004: ODSM disconnected from OID server due to time out error.
Cause: ODSM to OID connection was idle for long time.
Action: ODSM will reestablish the connection. No action needed from the user.

ODSM-00005: Size limit exceeded.
Cause: The number of search entries exceeds the size limit setting.
Action: Use the "Advanced Search" or "Configure Search Filter" options to retrieve the specific entries.

ODSM-00006: Unable to load password policy entries.
Cause: Error occurred while retrieving password policy entries from OID server.
Action: Refer exception and OID server's log file to take further action.

Impact: ODSM

ODSM-00007: SSL connection failed.
Cause: You may not have provided valid SSL port number and host. Or ODSM may not be able to read its trust store or may not have access to Credential Store Framework. Refer exception to find actual cause.
Action: Ensure that you have provided valid SSL port number and host details. Ensure that ODSM has access to Credential Store Framework and is able to read its trust store.

Type: ERROR

Impact: ODSM

ODSM-00008: Certificate validation failed.
Cause: Certificate presented by the server is invalid. Refer exception for more details.
Action: Connect to a server that is authentic and has valid certificate.

Level: 1

Type: ERROR

Impact: ODSM

ODSM-00009: LDAP operation has failed.
Cause: OID server is unwilling to perform this operation. In case ODSM is connected to OID server in High Availability mode and if OID to which ODSM is connected has gone down, this error can occur.
Action: Refer OID server's log file to take appropriate action. In later case, ODSM will reestablish connection to other available OID server and no action is required from the user.

ODSM-00010: Unable to load password verifier entries.
Cause: Error occurred while retrieving password verifier entries from OID server.
Action: Refer exception and OID server's log file to take further action.

ODSM-00011: Unable to load access control policies.
Cause: Error occurred while searching OID for access control policies.
Action: Refer exception and OID server's log file to take further action.

ODSM-00012: Posn: -1, Size: 0.
Cause: When JNDI is unable to handle error code returned by OID server, above error message is returned.
Action: Repeat your current action using command line tools supplied with OID server to find out actual error message returned by OID server and take appropriate action.

ODSM-01000: Error connecting to OVD.
Cause: OVD server is not running or ODSM is unable to contact OVD server.
Action: Ensure that OVD server is up and running. Also check if the server is SSL enabled.

ODSM-01001: Failed to save configuration to OVD server.
Cause: Configuration validation has failed. Refer exception for more details.
Action: Provide valid configuration.

Cause: SSL mode is not enabled in OVD server.
Action: Ensure that SSL mode is enabled in OVD server.

Cause: Invalid host name is provided.
Action: Provide valid host name.

ODSM-01004: Incorrect version error.
Cause: Configuration version number sent by ODSM does not match with that of OVD server.
Action: Refresh configuration from OVD server and redo the changes.

ODSM-01005: Failed to save access control policies to OVD server.
Cause: Validation of access control policy has failed at OVD server.
Action: Provide valid access control policies.

Cause: Validation of adapter configuration has failed at OVD server.
Action: Provide valid adapter configuration.

Cause: Request mapping file is not available. Refer exception and OVD server log file for more details.
Action: Provide valid mapping file.
