The following operating systems are supported for use with the Sun Server X3-2:
Oracle Solaris 10 8/11
Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 (with SRU 2, or any later bootable SRU, required) (also available as a preinstalled option)
Note - Before installing Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 on your server, you must update it to include Support Repository Update (SRU) 2, or any later bootable SRU. Oracle Solaris 11.1
Oracle Linux 5.7, 5.8, 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3 for x86 (64-bit) including the Oracle Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel for Linux (Oracle Linux 6.x is also available as a preinstalled option)
