Oracle® Documaker Docupresentment

This ReadMe accompanies the following Oracle products for the Oracle Solaris SPARC, Microsoft Windows, IBM AIX, and Linux x86 operating systems:

• Docupresentment Server: is a collection of applications including IDS and EWPS used to web-enable Documaker solutions.
• Docupresentment Client: core client files and example code for connecting to an IDS Server solution.
• Documaker Shared Objects: a package of Documaker service routines that can be invoked while running under IDS.

This file contains the following topics:

• Documentation - provides links to Documaker product documentation on OTN.
• Items Addressed - lists bug fixes, minor improvements, and other changes made to the Documaker components.
• Customer Support - provides information on contacting Oracle Support.

The Oracle Documaker Documentation Libraries include the following reference materials:

• The Documaker Release Notes and Readmes list new features, updates and bug fixes for all product components in this release.
• The Internet Document Server Installation Guide provides system requirements and installation instructions.
• The Internet Document Server Guide provides an overview of IDS, its concepts, what it can offer you, as well as how it fits into the Oracle Insurance’s family of solutions.
• The Internet Document Server SDK Reference explains how to use the Document Server Interface (DSI) APIs for creating rules and applications to interface with Oracle Insurance's Internet Document Server. The various API functions and processing rules are described in detail in this manual.

Items Addressed

This is a cumulative patch to Documaker 12.1. The following items are included in this release and originally addressed in the product version indicated. This list may include previous fixes and enhancements that were applied to Documaker components, but may not relate directly to the sample MRLs and additional updates within other products within the suite may impact the behavior of the MRLs.
In addition to the following items there may also be additional product enhancements outlined in the Release Notes which are available on OTN.

14659202	The patch fixes an issue that could occur when running Gendata from Docupresentment on unix platforms, gendata may fail intermittently due to bind error #97 from the socket layer.
16225380	This patch corrects a problem where a request's messageId/correlationId is mangled in the reply message, preventing the client from retrieving the reply.

13615505	This patch corrects a situation where some print files may be given the wrong file extension when using IDS to run the Rules Processor.
