To import a pre-existing XML file (see Exporting Topic Sets) that defines a topic set:
On the Search Workbench tab, select Topic Sets from the Show menu.
Click Import Topic Set.
Browse to the XML file containing the topic set definition.
Specify whether or not macro information contained in the file should be imported. If imported, you can select whether the imported macros overwrite any existing global macros or are ignored.
Specify whether you want to preserve existing topic IDs, or create new IDs for the imported topics.
If you are importing topics that were exported from ATG Knowledge, use the Preserve imported topic IDs setting. Knowledge solutions refer to these IDs, and if they are not preserved, that reference is broken.
If you are migrating topics from Enterprise Search 4.0, you should generate new topic IDs.
Provide a name and description to use for the imported topic set in ATG Search.
Click Import.
