copy-config

Syntax

tadm copy-config common_options --config=config_name copy_name

Description

Use this command to create a copy of an existing configuration. The newly copied configuration is identical to the existing configuration. However, the new configuration does not have any instances even though the configuration from which it has been copied has instances.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--config|-c

Specify the name of the configuration to be copied.

Operands

copy-name

Specify the name of the configuration that you want to copy

Example

tadm copy-config --user=admin --password-file=./admin.passwd 
--host=admin.example.com --port=8989 --no-prompt 
--config=www.example.org Config-1

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
