delete-cert

Syntax

tadm delete-cert common_options [--token=name] [--force] 
--config=config_name nickname

Description

Use this command to delete a certificate. The delete-cert command prompts for a token password if the token is password protected.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--token|-t

Specify the token (cryptographic device) name, which contains the encrypted public key.

--force|-f

Specify this option to enable a forced deletion of a certificate.

--config|-c

Specify the name of the configuration for which you are deleting the certificate.

Operands

nickname

Specify the short name of the certificate that you want to delete.

Example

tadm delete-cert --user=admin --password-file=./admin.passwd 
--host=admin.example.com --port=8989 --no-prompt 
--config=www.example.org "Certificate Manager - Oracle"

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
