tadm deploy-config common_options [--force] [--restart] [--no-reconfig] config_name


Use this command to deploy a configuration to the nodes. Whenever you create a new configuration or make changes to an existing configuration, you must deploy the configuration for the changes to take effect. The configuration is deployed to all the instances of a configuration.


For information about common_options, run the help command.


Specify this option for the command to overwrite any manual changes done to the configuration files in the instance. By using this option, the instance is overwritten with the latest version of all the files in the config-store.


Specify this option for the command to restart the instances running in this configuration.


If you specify this option, the command does not reconfigure the running server instances of this configuration.



Specify the name of the configuration that you want to deploy.


tadm deploy-config --user=admin --password-file=./admin.passwd --port=8989 --no-prompt configuration-1

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
