reset-admin-password

Syntax

tadm reset-admin-password common_options --instance-home=instance_home

Description

Use this command to reset the administrator server password. This command should be used locally where the administrator server is installed. This command does not prompt for the old password.

Note:

This command can be executed only when the authentication database is a keyfile, which is the default setting.

Options

For information about common_options, run the help command.

--instance-home|-i

Indicates the location where the server instances can be found.

Example

tadm reset-admin-password --instance-home=/home/otd

Exit Codes

The following exit values are returned:

0: command executed successfully

>0: error in executing the command
