You can use Oracle System Assistant to easily download and use the latest software release. For further information, refer to “Setting Up the Server Using Oracle System Assistant” in the Sun Server X3-2L Administration Guide.
There are two other methods for obtaining updated firmware and software: by using My Oracle Support or by requesting physical media. See:
