You can install multiple ATG Content Administration servers that run against a single installation of ATG 2007.3. All servers run against the same ATG Content Administration database.
Caution: Never use the same ATG installation for more than one cluster.
To create a cluster of ATG Content Administration servers:
Perform the initial installation and set up of ATG 2007.3, including ATG Content Administration. Configure the initial ATG Content Administration server as described in Setting Up an ATG Content Administration Server.
Use the ATG Dynamo Server Admin to create additional instances of ATG Content Administration servers. The process is described in detail in Installing Multiple Dynamo Servers in the ATG Installation and Configuration Guide. By default each additional server inherits the settings of the initial server.
Make sure that all servers point to the same database. Follow the steps in Setting Up the ATG Content Administration Database.
