Dynamo is configured out of the box to handle requests from wireless devices just like it handles requests from conventional browsers. However, wireless devices have special requirements because they typically have much smaller screen sizes, limited input devices, and bandwidth connections that are lower than HTML browsers. WAP uses Wireless Markup Language (WML), which was designed to compensate for the narrow-band device constraints of wireless devices.

WML is a language for wireless content written in XML that’s based on a subset of HDML version 2.0. Information presented in WML is organized into cards and decks. A card is analogous to an HTML page. A card might present a menu choice, a screen of text, or a data entry form. A deck is a collection of cards structured as an XML document.
